The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), along with its Commission on Governmental and External Affairs (CGEA), and Committee on International Affairs (CIA) gave its very first UAP Beacon Seal of Excellence Award to Architect Emmanuel A. Miñana last Friday, December 11, 2020 at ceremonies held at the UAP National Headquarters building in Quezon City. Archt Miñana received his award from UAP National President Archt. Renato Heray; UAP Secretary General Archt. Jonathan Manalad; CGEA Exec. Director Archt. Jason Ang; Nat’l Architecture Week Chair Archt Roselle Santos; CIA Chair Archt Danny Tan-Ko; and UAP Metro Chapter President Archt. Gary Chung.
He is the first Beacon Awardee to be recognized by the UAP for uplifting the image of Filipino architects here and abroad. The ceremony coincided with National Architecture Week.
